OUR FOUNDER

Manuel David, originally from Honduras, won an AFS scholarship based on academic achievement and community service when he was 16.  He returned to the U.S. to attend Heald Institute of Technology and later DeVry University and Keller Graduate School of Management.

After graduation he joined a Systems Integration company, rising from the panel shop to Manager of Machine Vision Systems. He later joined a firm that implemented projects worldwide in the field of oil and gas, with most of his assignments in Asia and South America.  He became one of 5 project managers in a company of 200, planning, organizing, and staffing projects ranging in value from $150,000 to $10 million.

Mr. David founded Global Control Systems in 2000. He found his calling in working on complex batch and continuous process systems in the food and pharmaceutical industries.  Building on this strength, he assembled a stellar staff of process project engineers to meet the demanding requirements of FDA-regulated companies and high-speed discrete manufacturing. The company has delivered systems in the United States and Europe, performing over 350,000 hours of control system engineering, for over 75 customers, at a value of more than $50 Million.
